The Hysteria Project Lecture is Online
Artist Rachael Jablo opened the Endometriosis (R)Evolution: Making the Invisible Visible conference with her exhibition The Hysteria Project. As part of the opening event, Jablo held a talk which doubled as the keynote lecture for the conference. In her deeply personal and beautifully delivered lecture, Rachael Jablo shared her own story as a chronic illness sufferer and mused on how her physical limitations shaped her work. Discussing art, patient narratives, and narrative medicine, Jablo offered the audience a unique insight into the power of storytelling and how it can re-shape the world we live in.
You can now watch the keynote lecture on UniTube.
The Endometriosis (R)Evolution: Making the Invisible Visible conference is part of the In/Visible Endometriosis: Menstruation, Menopause, and Narrative Medicine project funded by the Elisabeth List Fellowship Programme.
